My Studio
Student Recordings:
I have had the pleasure of teaching students from vastly diverse backgrounds both privately and at Montana State University. Pianists in my studio are teachers, composers, and engineers; it doesn’t matter from what professional disciplines they arrive or are headed, I meet them where they are and guide them to their preferred destination. Some land in public and private music school teaching, some in film and video game music production, and some in graduate school at music conservatories. The destination doesn’t matter as much as the journey.
My students are encouraged to perform for a variety of audiences including children and seniors in the community, as well as for special fundraising concerts and formal recitals. My outstanding colleagues also help me to coach students in chamber music settings. The combination of these experiences support our students in their growth and help them become authentic, confident professionals.
Interested in joining my studio?
I teach both through Montana State University and privately. Feel free to reach out to me for more information about my schedule, rates, and teaching methods. Anyone is welcome!

Dream it!
I’m thrilled to have a new colleague in the piano area at MSU—Kenneth Christensen, who is well known and loved throughout the region. Last year, we witnessed our students’ incredible growth as they worked together to put on the inaugural pianoforte concert. The concert raised significant funds for piano scholarships. The MSU pianists will return again in 2021 to present, “Chopin: his life and works,” and of course, new and exciting piano ensembles.
Future Collaborations
Kenneth and I are also delighted to delve into the Poulenc Double Piano Concerto. Although the pandemic has pushed this concert further into the future, we look forward to collaborating with the MSU Symphony Orchestra during the 2021 season. Watch for updates!
